Vanaf 1981 is Wilma Kubbinga werkzaam in het middelbaar onderwijs. In het begin als tekendocent op het VMBO, later als docent esthetische vormgeving en coach op het MBO.

Creativiteit loopt als een rode draad door haar leven. Naast haar drukke gezin en baan, is zij te vinden in haar glasatelier.

Het werken met heldere kleuren, en verrassende vormen blijft een uitdaging om mooie glasobjecten te maken.

Wilma Kubbinga has been working in secondary education since 1981. In the beginning as a drawing teacher at the VMBO, later as a teacher of aesthetic design and coach at the MBO.

Creativity runs like a thread through her life. In addition to her busy family and job, she can be found in her glass studio.

Working with bright colours and surprising shapes remains a challenge to create beautiful glass objects.
