Het grootste gedeelte van mijn werk bestaat uit zijde schilderijen, met vele kleuren, zwart lijnen spel en verschillende bekende objecten. De thema's zijn van traditionele en folkloristische aard en hebben vaak een religieuze tint, die uit mijn Puertoricaanse cultuur komt. Ook werk ik met aquarel, acryl en gemengde techniek.
Lang voordat ik in Zeeland kwam wonen, werkte en woonde ik in Puerto Rico. Ik heb van 1985 t/m 1992 gestudeerd aan de Universiteit van Puerto Rico waar ik mijn bachelor diploma "Beeldende Kunst" heb gehaald. Daarnaast werkte ik in Ramallo Brothers Printing Inc.; (een drukkerij) als grafisch medewerkster en illustrator van boeken en ander gedrukt materiaal. Als freelance kunstenaar ontwierp ik handgemaakte wenskaarten.
Toen ik in 1992 in Nederland kwam wonen volgde ik cursussen in inkt op zijde en ging ik als freelance kunstenaar schilderen. Ook schilderde ik zijde kleding. (kimono's, sjaals, jurken etc.).

Most of my work consists of silk paintings, with many colors, black lines and various well-known objects. The themes are of a traditional and folkloristic nature and often have a religious hue, which comes from my Puertorican culture. I also work with watercolor, acrylic and mixed technique.
Long before I came to live in Zeeland, I worked and lived in Puerto Rico. I studied from 1985 to 1992 at the University of Puerto Rico where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts. I also worked in Ramallo Brothers Printing Inc.; (a printing office) as a graphic worker and illustrator of books and other printed material. As a freelance artist, I designed handmade greeting cards.
When I came to live in the Netherlands in 1992, I took courses in ink on silk and started painting as a freelance artist. I also painted silk clothing. (kimonos, scarves, dresses etc.).
